 FLAT SCREEN CHANGER  (Made by GMA） 

Flat screen changer (FSC) consists of 1 flat plate with 2 filters operated by hydraulic piston.

Since the flat plate is moved from used filter position to another new clean filter position in a prompt motion, and the operation makes minimizing polymer loss for filter changing operation. After changed the position, the filter is changed to new clean filter.

 

DMAG suggests the new installation of the screen changer to be installed on the down-stream of gear pump.

This enables the extrusion system to lower the discharge pressure to 30-50 bar, and results in a 30% energy-saving. And lowering discharge pressure leads to lowering polymer temperature which is conducive to the increase in productive capacity of the extruder.
