Replacement to DEX-GP gear pump

 

It is available to replace from any types of gear pump to DEX-GP gear pump, which has the excellent performance.

DMAG will wait for the customers’ requests of gear pump, which are already changed the generation and finished the production, with pleasure.

 

 

DEX-GP gear pump can be corresponded to any types of gear pumps by shaping same connection design.

The main parts of DEX-GP gear pump, such as gear shafts, bearings, V-seal and etc., are adapted the common parts system. So these parts are always available in stock.

 

 

１.　Total replacement

　It is possible to replace gear pump without any modification to connection flanges.

   Connection flange of housing is same as working pump.

 

　1-1 Replacement to same size pump (M maker’s 1st generation pump)

　　Merit    　　- Simply replacement to new gear pump.

　　　　　　　  　With the smallest adjustment work, motor, reduction gear box, universal shaft can be

                         used again.

　　　　　　　　- It is possible to optimize the volumetric efficiency and the wear resistance, remarkably.

　　　　　　　　- To solve the problem of de-gradation at V-seal.

　　　　　　　　- To save the replacement cost.

　　　　　　　　- To expect the additional energy saving by adopting IPM motor.

　　　　　　　　- Spare parts are always available in stock.

　   Demerit 　　- There is no demerit.

 

　1-2 Replacement to same size pump (M maker’s newest generation pump, European K, W, E maker)

　　Merit    　　- Within 2 weeks delivery, because same type of housing is available in stock.

　　　　　　　　- It is possible to optimize the volumetric efficiency and the wear resistance, remarkably.

　　　　　　　　- To save the replacement cost.

　　　　　　　　- To expect the additional energy saving by adopting IPM motor.

　　　　　　　　- Spare parts are always available in stock.

　1-3 Replacement to same size pump (S maker, American N, X, P maker)

　　Merit    　　- Simply replacement to new gear pump.

　　　　　　　  　With the smallest adjustment work, motor, reduction gear box, universal shaft can be

　　　　　　　　- It is possible to optimize the volumetric efficiency and the wear resistance, remarkably.

　　　　　　　　- To solve the problem of de-gradation at V-seal.

　   Demerit 　  - Gear pump’s rpm will be lower.

 

　1-4 Replacement to one size smaller pump (S maker, American N, X, P maker)

　　Merit    　　- Within 2 weeks delivery, because same type of housing is available in stock.

　　　　　　　　- To expect the additional energy saving by adopting IPM motor.

　　　　　　　　- It is possible to modify the extruder line including screen changer.

　   Demerit 　  - It needs the modification cost of the connecting flanges, IPM motor, reduction gear box

                        and etc..

　　　　　　　　- It needs the renewal of operating condition.

 

２.　Replacement of gear shafts and bearings

 

　2-1 Replacement of gear shafts and bearings　（European M, E maker）

　　Merit    　　- Cost saving

　　　　　　　　- It is possible to optimize the volumetric efficiency and the wear resistance.

　   Demerit 　  - Gear shafts must be changed all together.

 

　2-2 Replacement of gear shafts and bearings　（S maker, American N, X, P maker）

　　DMAG recommend to replace the gear pump, because it is very difficult to solve the problem

   by only gear shafts and bearings.
